FAMILY : AMPHINOMIDAE
Amphinome rostrata Pallas 1766

This worm was found on a 5cm piece of pumice among Lepas barnacles, on which it feeds.
Others were also found on cork, wood and seeds. It is a pelagic species with a range of Indo-Pacific
and central western Atlantic.
