Hastings Point as it normally looks at low tide,
------------------
and how it is now !!!!
This area is often subject to sand being pushed by swell and current, and then deposited
in the rock pools. It is usually on a small scale with the areas inundated recovering quickly.
This is the worst I have seen it and will take considerable time to regenerate as almost all of the
intertidal and subtidal area is covered, with only bare rock exposed. Another big swell is
needed to remove this sand from what is normally a great place to snorkel
PRAY FOR A BIG SWELL !!
